  1. Jessica,It’s always dfiifcut to approach an employee with negative feedback. first decide what and how you are going to approach this. Don’t say you’re not friendly to your co-workers. Rather focus on what your employee is doing or not doing that is perceived as not friendly . Not for example they don’t like you but rather joining them for lunch once or twice a week is a good way to get to know one another and to build teamwork. And teamwork is really important for our department. Remember, you don’t focus on the person, but on the person’s behavior.
